We all want our kids to have fantastic memorable childhoods and to be able to look back one day with fond memories of their summer holidays and playing in the park at weekends. Unfortunatly in this day and age playing in the park isn’t always an option, but it need not be the end of them having fun and memorable times.

Creating a little play area in your back garden could be just what is needed and this option is becoming more and more popular with parents of young kids as it means they still get to play, get fresh air and get exercise all safely and under the watchful eye of the parents and in the safety zone of your own back garden.

Wooden playhouses are a fantastic option for such a play area and can be the best investment you can make not only financially but in your childs development and happiness. A play house can be the place to put all the toys instead of cluttering up the house or as a spare room, a playhouse can be whatever your childs imagination wants it to be and with a little bit of decorating can mean many years of happy play and some very fond memories to look back on when they grow up.

Playhouses need very little care and possibly last many many years with just a bit of wood treatment each year, they look good in the back garden and its surroundings and can be put up, taken down and painted very easily. They have excellent sell on value if your child out grows it but even better they can be added too in order to develop with your child and his or her needs. Slides can be added to the side, a sandpit out in front or even attach a climbing frame to  , all of which will improve your childs exercise levels, strengths, fitness and mind and body skills.

Wooden play houses come in many different shapes, sizes and styles so there’s bound to be one that suites your needs and your childs needs. They can be painted easily and furniture can be added to make it a lovely environment for them to play and maybe even have tea partys in with their friends or little sleep overs when they get a little older.
