With summer fast approaching it is wise to start thinking about what you want your children to spend their time doing in their school holidays.. They can seem to go on forever and once the boredom sets in its very hard to stop the moaning and tantrams. Unfortunatley we cannot send our kids off to the park on their own like we used to do when we were kids, its not a safe world anymore.
But this doesn’t mean we have to make do with plonking them in front of a dvd or play station game. A lot of parents are turning to a new idea for keeping their kids happy, occupied and allowing them to play and get lots of fresh air and exercise.
A lot of parents are now turning and area of their back gardens into an area for their kids to play in. They buy play equipment and turn it into a mini park yet it is a lot safer and you can still keep a watchful eye over them if you feel the need. Some popular equipment includes slides, swings, sand pits, climbing frames etc.
These are all great fun but there’s only so long they are going to keep your child occupied for before you get them at the back door whining they are bored. But there is one bit of equipment that stands out from the rest in value for money, usage ability and fun factor. This bit of kit is a wooden play house. Wooden playhouses can offer hours upon hours of fun and games to your child while still allowing them to get plenty of exercise and fresh air.
A play house can be put up almost anywhere and painted or decorated to your childs preferences and they also look a lot nicer in the back garden than a lot of other bits of equipment. With very little time and money each year a wooden play house can be cared for and will last for many years which offers exceptional value for money.
As your childrens interest change so can the play house with a bit of paint and some new curtains at the windows the play house can be made into a den, cave, wendy house or whatever takes your childs fancy. Add in some childrens furniture and a rug and you have a brilliant little home away from home where your child can play with friends, have little tea parties or just play quietly on their own with their toys, meaning the house won’t be so cluttered.
